Discover one of jazz's most exciting emerging pianists as 2027 American Piano Awards finalist Caelan Cardello closes out the American Piano Awards Premiere Series at The Jazz Kitchen.
Named one of The Gilmore's 2026 Rising Stars, Caelan has quickly earned recognition for his distinctive artistry and musical voice. The New York City–based pianist has performed with artists including Christian McBride, Jimmy Cobb, and Bill Charlap, and has appeared at venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Newport Jazz Festival. He is a recipient of the BMI Future Jazz Master Award and holds degrees from William Paterson University and The Juilliard School. Now he'll take the stage for the final adjudicated performance of the 2027 Premiere Series, bringing this first chapter of the competition to a close.
