Throughout his dynamic and far-reaching career, Taylor has performed with an impressive roster of artists spanning genres and generations, including Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Gloria Estefan, Dave Koz, Kirk Whalum, Regina Belle, Najee, Candy Dulfer, The Righteous Brothers, Delfeayo Marsalis & The Uptown Jazz Orchestra, Eric Darius, Justin Lee Schultz, Nicole Henry, Kris Johnson Big Band, Montell Jordan, Trombone Shorty, and many others across North America.
A versatile and in-demand musician, Taylor frequently collaborates with leading industry producers, contributing to music featured on major platforms such as Netflix, HGTV, BET, and beyond. In 2018, he was signed to Warner Chappell Music as a recording artist, further establishing his presence as both a performer and creative force in the industry.
In addition to his performance career, Taylor has demonstrated a strong commitment to education. He previously served as Jazz Trumpet Professor at Broward College in Miami, FL, where he spent a year mentoring the next generation of musicians.
Currently, Taylor divides his time between Los Angeles, CA and Indianapolis, IN. He serves as an Assistant Director and Arranger with the African American Arts Institute at Indiana University, working closely with the renowned IU Soul Revue. Alongside his academic role, he remains an active performer and recording artist, with engagements that continue to take him across the country and abroad.
